Airbag

An airbag is included for your customized AMG steering wheel, for your Circa 2019+ Mercedes AMG model. Please select the correct type of airbag from the dropdown menu above based on what you have currently on your factory steering wheel. (i.e Single or Dual-stage airbag) If you are unsure of the type of airbag you have now, kindly contact us via email at support@caworks.store. In case you wish to use your factory airbag, you may.

Infotainment buttons and controls

Infotainment buttons are included. Please make sure the type of buttons you need is selected from the configurator. (i.e Distronic or standard cruise control with speed limiter) Controls/function icons are European specified. Although the North American button buttons have different function icons, the functions are the same. In the case of functions that differ, your button motherboard or entire infotainment and controls assembly will need to be transferred. Infotainment buttons and controls are in left-hand drive configuration. For right-hand drive vehicle models, you can still use left-hand drive configured buttons or you can transfer your own buttons on the steering wheel.

All the above functions will work.

Lane departure assist

If your vehicle originally comes equipped with lane departure assist that sends vibration through your steering wheel when you drive out of lane, this feature will not be affected. Please ensure you inform us about this feature in the drop-down menu above.

Heated steering wheel

If your factory steering wheel originally comes with heating feature, this feature will be disabled when you install a custom rebuilt steering wheel. You can choose to retain or abandon the feature. Please select from the dropdown menu above whether you want to retain or abandon the feature. The heating feature is not an added feature. If your factory steering wheel does not come with heating feature, we are not able to add. Simple wiring connections will be required to install the heating feature. Please note that heating function will only be available on the side grips where the leather is at. Carbon fiber parts will not have heating.

Paddle shifters

Standard paddle shifters are included as standard in this steering wheel set. If you wish to use back your own factory paddle shifters, you can do so.

U88 Drive Unit toggle switches

The U88 Drive Unit Toggle Switches are not included by default. Since they are so expensive, most customers will transfer them to our steering wheel to save money. From a cost-effective standpoint, we recommend that everyone use back their own switches. Please select the switches you need from the drop-down menu above, if you need them for any reason. Please select that you do not have the U88 Drive Unit Toggle Switches from the drop-down menu above if your vehicle does not have these.

LED Shift Lights with vehicle information center display

LED Shift Lights display will be pre-installed for you. No coding or programming will be required for the LED Shift Lights to work. Installation process will be plug and play. You will be required to connect the 12-volt and ground wire that is included and pre-installed. The 12-volt wire must be connected to a power source of a minimum rating of 12-volts. This power source can be tapped from your wiring harness from your clock-spring. Testing with a voltmeter is recommended. Please secure the ground and 12-volt wire securely to prevent disconnection. A wireless OBD2 blue-tooth connector will be provided in the package. After the 12-volt and ground wires are installed, connect the OBD2 connector into your OBD2 port. Start your vehicle, press, and hold the 2 buttons on the display panel simultaneously for approximately 5 seconds until the display starts up.
